Take a flight over the Moskva River! The Moscow Cable Car, opened in 2018, has become a striking landmark of the capital and a popular tourist route. Connecting the two banks of the Moskva River, the cable car links the legendary Luzhniki sports complex and the famous observation deck on Sparrow Hills, offering a unique journey over the river and the city. Modern cable car cabins, created by Porsche Design, provide a breathtaking panoramic view of Moscow's main attractions: the picturesque embankment of the Moskva River, the Luzhniki sports complex, Moscow City, the main building of Moscow State University, and other famous sites. The Moscow Cable Car route, 720 meters long, includes three stations: - Vorobyovy Gory Station (28 Kosygina St., bldg. 1) - Novaya Liga Station (28 Kosygina St., bldg. 19) - Luzhniki Station (24 Luzhnetskaya Nab., bldg. 1)The cable car serves several functions at once: tourist, transport, and sports. Its capacity is up to 1,600 people per hour. The cabins are designed for 8 people and are equipped with media screens, LED lighting, as well as special mounts for skis and snowboards. Convenient travel with strollers and wheelchairs is possible. For special occasions, two premium cabins of increased comfort are provided.
