The Truly Great Moscow State Circus

The Great Moscow Circus on Vernadsky Avenue is the largest stationary circus in Europe. It accommodates 3,400 spectators and offers grandiose shows without technical pauses. Its main feature is a unique system of five interchangeable arenas: Equestrian, Ice, Water (with fountains), Illusion, and Light. The arenas descend to a depth of up to 18 meters and are replaced in just a few minutes right during the performance. The circus building is impressive in its scale: Height: 31 meters; Amphitheater: 24 massive fold-petals; Area: 3,000 square meters. The circus offers programs of all known circus genres: from aerial gymnastics to animal training and acrobatics.
