Love Lake is also known as Suuk-Dzhurek-Kol, which translates to "Cold Heart". This scenic trail takes you through the pristine territory of the Teberda Nature Reserve and lush coniferous forests. Although the ascent is fairly steep, it is well within reach even for beginners. Continuing along a sunlit trail lined with birch trees, you will reach the Morg-Syrty plateau, situated at an altitude of 2,350 meters above sea level, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire Arkhyz village. Right before your eyes lies the remarkable natural heart-shaped lake. Legend has it that tossing a coin into its crystal-clear waters will help you find your soulmate. A little further along the path lies Lake Belkao-Kel, a larger and exceptionally picturesque body of water fed by a mountain stream—the perfect spot to sit back and admire the majestic mountain range. This is a long route recommended for experienced hikers or horse riders prepared for extended saddle time; basic physical fitness is an asset. The trail is open starting from June.
