Музей «Крепость» в Кисловодске — история, экспозиции, режим работы

The "Fortress" Museum of History and Local Lore was established by members of the Kislovodsk Local Lore Society. Opened on May 9, 1965, it originally held the status of a people's museum. Today, the permanent exhibition features sections dedicated to the city's history, Kislovodsk Cossacks, the Great Patriotic War, archaeological discoveries, the resort's natural wealth, and the history of state symbols. Since 1993, the F.A. Tsander Museum of Cosmonautics History has operated as a department within the museum complex. Additionally, the round tower of the Kislovodsk fortress serves as an exhibition hall hosting a wide variety of visiting displays.
